If you are Republican or out of touch with the demographic that can relate to this, then I could understand your viewpoint.
But ask yourself this question: do you feel this way because you are part of the C.R.A.P?

I feel this way because this is nazi-esque propaganda. I would probably take this more seriously if it was a KKK site.

cute. uninspired and unoriginal, but cute. Can we actually hear it on-line as well? I couldn't find an audio link.
Here's a better lyric from Billy Bragg.
It's a song called "Waiting for the Great Leap Forwards" and it has a catchy tune as well. Check it out sometime. And good luck with music.
"It may have been Camelot for Jack and Jacqueline
But on the Che Guevara highway filling up with gasoline
Fidel Castro's brother spies a rich lady who's crying
Over luxury's disappointment
So he walks over and he's trying
To sympathise with her but he thinks that he should warn her
That the Third World is just around the corner
In the Soviet Union a scientist is blinded
By the resumption of nuclear testing and he is reminded
That Dr Robert Oppenheimer's optimism fell
At the first hurdle
In the Cheese Pavilion and the only noise I hear
Is the sound of someone stacking chairs
And mopping up spilt beer
And someone asking questions and basking in the light
Of the fifteen fame filled minutes of the fanzine writer
Mixing Pop and Politics he asks me what the use is
I offer him embarrassment and my usual excuses
While looking down the corridor
Out to where the van is waiting
I'm looking for the Great Leap Forwards
Jumble sales are organised and pamphlets have been posted
Even after closing time there's still parties to be hosted
You can be active with the activists
Or sleep in with the sleepers
While you're waiting for the Great Leap Forwards
One leap forward, two leaps back
Will politics get me the sack?
here comes the future and you can't run from it
If you've got a blacklist I want to be on it
It's a mighty long way down rock 'n roll
From Top of the Pops to drawing the dole
If no one seems to understand
Start your own revolution and cut out the middleman
In a perfect world we'd all sing in tune
But this is reality so give me some room
So join the struggle while you may
The Revolution is just a T-shirt away
Waiting for the Great Leap Forwards"

ncjake,
I'm just and individual making a statement. A more accurate analogy to Nazi propaganda would be Fox "news".
It guess it's hard for you to find good kkk sites thes days since most bigots have found a haven in the Republican Party.
Look, I didn't start this thread to trade insults with people who just don't get it. If you're that too far gone to the right that you can't engage a person in a sensible dialog, then perhaps it would better serve you to post on a different thread.

Angus,
My music and website are very original. You would be hard-pressed to find many artists who produced something similar to my work.
Musically and lyrically the inspiration comes from punk rock and hip hop. I was a history teacher and writer for 10 years before I ever wrote anything political. I suppose the atrocious direction this administration took our country in inspired me to have an outpouring of political creativity. My website is a collection of that experience.
The site also features other like-minded people on my links and books page. So it's just like anything else: there are those who really connect to it and those who don't.
The music link was down temporarily yesterday, but now its back if you'd like to check it out.

P.S. Thanks for the Billy Bragg lyrics

Heard it! I like the continuous percussive bassline. Good foot-stompin' music.
I also like the Emily post rhyming scheme. There's a whole bunch of anti-Bush music out there, though, and that's what I meant by unoriginal. I certainly didn't mean to imply that you're plaigarising. Every four years we get some songs like this. Goes back a long way.
Remember "We won't be fooled again." there's one that really took off. The nice part about Billy Bragg's political music is that it was, during its time, timeless. That's hard to achieve with a political song. Back in the 90s I was a singer/songwriter/guitar player in a pop/rock band in Boston. We did very little political stuff, but the few we did do have lyrics that are so dated now.

To help pump people up for the election, Music for America is featuring my record, Smash Politricks, on their music page. Music for America is a very popular non-profit organization connecting hundreds of bands with people out there who are trying to make a difference for social change. They've especially done a lot of work to reach out to younger voters.

I'm glad you love the "If it feels good do it" idealism that has corrupted the youth of this country. It will be sad to see the sorry state of this country in 20 years. MTV has ruined America, sad really because I used to love MTV, now it's just garbage.

You bash Karl Roves' tactics on your site. I actually find those tactics very very good to use to destroy political opponents. He is a master politician.

Who are the C.R.A.P?
Before we talk about what C.R.A.P. IS, let's talk about what C.R.A.P. IS NOT. Our website does NOT opposes all Republicans. There is enough bi-partisan hate in the world already. There are Republicans whom we respect, some we love, and some that we're even related to! And the same goes for Republicans who identify themselves as Conservatives. Conservative is not a four letter word.
...But neither is Liberal. And lately, anyone who doesn't blindly support whatever the right-wing C.R.A.P. do finds him or herself accused of being unpatriotic. The C.R.A.P. disregard citizens' Constitutional rights, favor the greed of big business over the needs of our citizens, and want to spread democracy internationally--even if it means taking military action to impose democracy on people whether they want it or not. This is CRAP--and no bones about it--we are definitely ANTI-C.R.A.P!

October Suprise

It was quite a surprise to see Osama bin Laden looking tan, rested and ready rather than Team Bush unveiling him on Fox chained to a wall.
But my October surprise I had was when I went door to door in my neighborhood with fellow Democrats. I live in Prospect Park which has been a Republican stronghold in the suburbs of Philadelphia for decades. I was excited to find out that the majority of my neighbors were voting for Kerry. It’s made me feel energized and optimistic about the coming showdown on November 2.
