The Anti Minor Death Act:

1. This act hereby states that all abortions, even if rape or incest be totally banned. If a baby is accidentally born and not intended, it should be given to an adoption agency or someone who wants one. A five hundred dollar grant will be given to the people who adopt a baby that a mother does not wish to care for.

2. Any doctor who will violate this law shall be subject to a murder charge, likely meaning, they'll go to prison for years, same as any person who will illegally provide abortion services.

(Noted: I borrowed some of Governor Leinad's adoption policies and replaced alot with more anti-abortion material)

I was gonna wait to introduce these but no one's suggesting any new bills, and besides we have room for one more. I am going to be a speaker who gets things done, usually voting on 2 bills at a time.

The Anti Insurance and Mortgage Services Discrimination Act

1. Every single Southern Atlasian, regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, etc shalln't be denied mortgages or insurance based on that reason. If they are to be denied such services, it cannot be because of their personal matters.

2. With these services come responsibility, more specifically financial issues. Certain insurance or mortgage programs, or even cars, should cost the same for every person regardless of their personal matters, depending on the for example house or insurance package. For example, a package that costs around three hundred dollars for a white person, shall be the same for a black person.

3. If any part of this law is broken, the insurance salesman or realtor, etc shall be slapped with a five hundred dollar fine, and the customer who was violated pays his fair share, no more, no less. If a salesman violates this again, they shall be fired and if in real estate, their license taken away.

A copy has been sent to the Speaker's desk, sponsored by Governor Leinad upon the recommendation of Secretary of State Classic Conservative.

I have a couple questions, though, so I'd be happy if you could stop by the capitol and answer them during the debate of this bill.

And thanks, Secretary! I think that firearm safety is a great thing to be teaching the region's children.

I've floated this idea around behind the scenes, and it seems well-supported:

For the record, the Constitution sets the number at 5, saying that the Legislature has the ability to change it (as they have--to 3):

So, this is the proper, Constitutional way to do it.

The Jobs Creation Act of 2016

1. The building of 400,000 Solar panels shall take place, creating jobs all over the South and the building of 50 small levies in New Orleans.
2. This act shall also call for the construction of 500 wind turbines.
3. This act shall also save $15,000,000 for the improvement of roads and bridges.
4. This act shall also create a new website: Jobs.gov, which shall help people find the jobs they wish to have based on certain qualifications, etc. $1,000,000 shall be used to build the website.
5. This act will in total take around $60,000,000.

Sponsor: Speaker Haslam

This is a big act. It will create hundreds of thousands, if not millions of jobs. This is a big step to ending unemployment in the South, and after government spending is pretty reduced, this'll be nothing but peanuts, which is necessary for a prosperous South. I am open to debate on the numbers however.

The Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2016:

The Ron Paul Act of 2016:

1. The police can not lie to get confessions.
2. The police cannot go through your documents, or home without a warrant, and if they do they shall face a $50,000 fine and go to court on charges of invasion of privacy, should an officer do this.
3. This act would call for small cameras to be put on each officer, they'd cost about $50 dollars each, setting aside around 300,000 dollars to supply these cameras.
4. The police can not demand people to stop recording police situations.
5. This act states the government shall encourage PEACEFUL demonstrations if any sort of police brutality happens, the officer likely won't get away with it.
6. If somehow a prisoner in the South has been labeled not guilty of something and has served in prison for something they didn't commit, they shall be liable to a 3,000 dollar grant for each year they served. (of course they will be labeled innocent with proper investigations, of course)

The Criminal Justice Reform Act of 2016:

1. If a police officer goes through your documents or your home without a warrant they shall face a $50,000 fine and go to court on charges of invasion of privacy.
2. This act would call for small cameras to be put on each officer, supplying for 100,000 of these cameras (thus costing about $5,000,000).
3. The police can not demand people to stop recording police situations. If they do, there will be an ethics investigation, and they will face a fine of the wages that they miss.
4. This act reinforces the right to peaceful protest, and police officers will be punished if they infringe on that right by in any way impeding, discouraging, or abusing people legally protesting something.
5. The punishment for infringing on protest rights will be at least a weeks wages, and will be immediate dismissal and criminal charges if violence is involved on the part of the officer.
6. In the event that someone in the South serves time in prison for a crime it was proved that he/she didn't commit, he/she shall be liable to a 3,000 dollar grant for each year they served.

It's an amendment, just because the name is changed doesn't mean it's a new bill.

This shall be introduced later but...

The People's Government Bill

1. Citizens will be allowed to introduce bills in the SE legislature, even if they are from other areas, essentially allowing anyone who wants to introduce a bill can introduce one.
2. The Maximum amount of bills being debated or voted on shall be increased to 4.
3. Tax rates, current states of the economy, etc shall be released every five months.
4. Southern Government spending shall be publicly view-able.

Sounds more like a constitutional amendment.

Although, on #4, we should do our budget. We normally try to do that each year anyway, so #s 3 and 4 are redundant.
