Lean FF. She is an attention whore and uses her son a bit much, but that doesn't make her points less valid. She challenges the status quo, and the media, politicians, and other slaves to conventional wisdom hate her for it, which earns her credit in my book.

Generally positive. She is an attention whore, but at least she is not a hypocrite like a lot of other Democlones that are perfectly content with Bush's war now that Obama has made it clear that it's not going to end on his watch.

Mixed. I like her message but she is very grating as a person. I certainly wouldn't want to have a conversation with her.

Lean HP.

She is not a warocrite like many liberals are, but I can't say much positive after that.

I like making silly words.

I love how Republicans are becoming anti-war now. Hilarious!

HP. Anybody that only opposes a war after her own son dies isn't really interested in the principle itself, IMO.

It's kind of like Stauffenberg wasn't exactly opposed to national socialism, but opposed Hitler for other reasons that clearly can't be considered as noble.

Who says she supported the war before her son's death?

And even if that were the case, why isn't losing her own beloved son to an illegal war built upon lies a just reason to get active in opposing the war, for the sake of the thousands of other sons and daughters still in harm's way right now?

It appears insincere to me if you have to lose something personal before you change your opinion on an issue.

That's like opposing universal healthcare and suddenly changing your position as soon as you lose your job and health insurance.

Except those people would get their healthcare back then. Sheehan won't be getting her son back, so I don't see what personal gain there is from opposing the wars.

True, but that's not what I'm getting at. I'm not claiming that she stands anything to gain...but simply that she wouldn't have come to the same conclusion about the war (I'm making this assumption...I concede that it is only an assumption) had her son not been killed.

The same being true for some middle class guy that never could imagine what being without health insurance is like.
