So, yeah, he seems to be like a pretty reasonable, moderate guy.

I find it funny that people were calling him a teabagger during the campaign.

Even if he votes against filibustering items he doesn't like, that doesn't mean he's moderate. Many hardcore liberals and conservatives in the 1990s and before refused to filibuster bills that they didn't like because they considered it an abuse of the filibuster. Maybe I'll start considering Scott Brown a moderate when he denounces trickle-down economics and admits that it does not work.

He's never said he supported it.

Brown will likely not win another election in MA. Let him cause trouble and make national news so that the Rs will have no momentum by fall.

Brown know's he's "Mr 40th vote" atm, so he can put the GOP against the ropes if he wishes and he knows that his re-election prospects aren't great either way.

It's not like he has approvals in the 70s or anything Roll Eyes

Doing this doesn't make Brown a "good old New England Republican".

It shows broader trends in his beliefs.

We'll see how much he "believes in process" when and if Health Care Reform comes up for a cloture vote.

Doesn't matter, the bill will die in the House most likely.

Why doesn't this apply to Scott Brown's 70% in Massachusetts?

He's a Republican in Massachusetts.
