Clinton says she thinks SoS will be her last "public position", and that she'll probably "go back to advocacy work, particularly on behalf of women and children" when she eventually leaves office as SoS:

Lots of time for her to change her mind though.  I think she'll be the odds on early favorite for the 2016 Democratic nomination if she wants to be.

No, she won't. She's had a distinguished career in public service and will retire to globetrot with Bill before settling down for their retirement.

I was pretty anti-Clinton in 2008 after Bill's SC rant and other ("shuck and jive") attacks on Obama, but I really think she's make a spectacular President and hope she does. Even if only to prove wrong all those who says she's too old.

She'll be 69 and age effects women more than men.

2008 was hopefully the last we'd have to deal with her.

You bet your ass she will.

I can't think of anybody in modern US history who wanted the Presidency more than her. You really think that ambition has just suddenly left her and now she is ready to slow down and write books? This is Hillary Clinton.

Assuming her health is up for it (or maybe even if it isn't) she will be running in 2016.

I know this may be a necro, but based on her recent actions for Benghazi. She will not run for President.

She'll run once, but health concerns will make her not run again. As long as the economy and etc is smooth by 2020 then americans will give Vice Preisdent Castro a landslide.

If she wins the presidency, she'll likely run again.

Hell, she might run again if she loses. I find it weird that someone who has the advantage Hillary currently has isn't seen as a credible contender for 2020 against a Republican incumbent.

I don't recall Tom Dewey running again in 1952 despite Truman's unpopularity. Did he not have an advantage?

Sorry but no, between how old she is now, the media firestorm, and the fact that only Nixon and Cleveland ever came back from exile....it's just not happening.

So true!

The Republicans actually thought they're healthy-minded when, in reality, they were brainwashed.

Fear the left.

I'd love to take away their Social Security, Medicare, and everything else that they will be enjoying that did not come from Conservatives/Republicans…and use all that for myself. LOL

Dewey had been the General election nominee twice.

Dewey sets a precedent for Hillary. Dewey was an elected officeholder from New York who won the popular vote in the party's 1940 primary before becoming the nominee in 1944 and 1948.

Democrats don't seem to have an Eisenhower on the horizon.
