But I'm sure there are plenty of people in the group who would disagree with that.  It's unfair to characterize the entire group based on these actions; however, I will say that the Tea Party group is characterized by a higher amount of radicals than most other political groups.

Well, those probably aren't any more likely than the general population (and I'd argue that they've been marginalized and probably aren't the type to go to these rallies wearing American flag shirts and holding poorly made signs anyway). But I think it's undeniable that there's a large and very influential segment of the movement that is motivated in part or in whole by racist and violent tendencies.

I don't think that half the Tea Party movement is  one of those 3 - in fact being involved in Republican politics, I often talk with  a lot of tea partiers, and have never gotten those feelings from most of them.
