It would be sad when Ecevit eliminated before the Islamist Erbakan, the corrupt Ciller, the military Ulusu. I'm not a big fan of him but he was better than most of the PM of the 70s to the present. Demirel, his counterpart in this time was terrible, against him, Ecevit was a sane politician. And this we cannot say often about Turkish PM
