May you enjoy a lifetime of voting to help the rich and hurt yourself, poor.

You patronizing Son of b**ches. How dare you label me "poor" in such an insulting manner. I am very disappointed in you Snowyguy. I expect this nonsensical crap from that mental midget you quoted, but not from you.

May you enjoy a lifetime of voting to help the rich and hurt yourself, poor.

Has Xahar gotten a little more abrasive toward right-wingers, or is it just me?

I'd like Yankee to list some non-social issues why the Republican party being in power benefits him and his family.  (and do not list reasons that include "because the Democrats"...I want positive Republican reasons only).

The GOP has the best energy, Immigration, Health care, Tax Code, and education proposals. I beleive in competition, and I beleive it pushes things towards excellence while, lack thereof ensures mediocracy. I think that dependence on Gov't reduces freedom and should only be used in emergency circumstances. If I am to become better off financially, the gov't can't do it for me, I have to do it for myself. No amount of welfare or gov't give-aways will do it, only hard work on my part. AND HOW DARE YOU JUDGE ME AND WHATS BEST FOR ME BASED OFF YOUR VALUES AND BELIEFS!!!!

Great. One more vote for the Democrats in several decades.

When you become the party of Grover Cleveland again, maybe. But there is no post William Jennings Bryan Democrat that I would support barring a huge breakage with the Party line and two or more key issues that make me look at them more favorably (Shuler, Dorgan etc). WHY DO YOU IDIOTS THINK I AM A REPUBLICAN? My parents are to the left of me socially (my mom) and economically (my dad). I am a Conservative Republican because of my OWN beleifs and values, not my parents nor anyone else's. If you will notice I don't shift my positions like several of the younger Republicans on this forum. I might shift on one issue or a sub issue based on further research, but I have been in general a Pro-Life, Pro-Traditional Marriage, Anti-Amnesty, low Tax, and Strong Military Republican for almost five years (since I become interested in politics).

May you enjoy a lifetime of voting to help the rich and hurt yourself, poor.

Perhaps a little. The reactions of certain forum members toward the events of this weekend have not exactly endeared me to them.

What did you expect would happen? They are Republicans. They just lost a major battle and a piece of legislation got passed that they think will destroy the country, and wisely so. Most independent observers, without a hand in the cookie jar, would tell you we are screwed financially because of this and any hope of real entitlement reform is dead. Did you really expect Republicans to be happy about this? You are f**king crazy.

Well, now, I've been called a "mental midget". Quite amusing, really. I'm a lot of things, but I don't see how I can in good faith be called that.

You know why, because I told you. You failed to understand. Hence further proof.

Supporting tax cuts for the rich and less regulation for bankers, while his family struggles to simply maintain internet access. That's American Conservatism for you.

Someone, is as usuall completely out of his senses.

Why do I even bother anymore? Nobody pays attention. Everybody makes there own little stereotypes and there assumptions about people. Those two thinks are the roots of racism, you know? Yet you liberal f**kheads are using both on steroids.

I don't mean to be harsh, Yankee, but could you list me a few ways the Republican Party benefits less well off families like yours?

I just did in the previous page. I also don't think generation welfare benefits people like you and me, though I give you the right to disagree with me, and you f**kheads should atleast extend me the same courtesy.

It keeps the brown people out.

Go to hell. I support legal immigration and I support Banking regulations as Marokai knew all to well yet claimed I didn't. So both of you can now reflect on your complete ignorance.

How? I am not Tom Tancredo who advocates ending all immigration to the US. Thats what it means.

What exactly did you expect given the thread premise?

Oh, I quite expected every last bit of this. And I have enjoyed every second of it. Tongue Why do you think I did it? lol
