I'm instead going to predict the names people predict.  I see a lot of Mark Warner and Chelsea Clinton and Aaron Schock happening.  And way too much Rand Paul.

2012: Obama/Biden vs. Romney/Hutchinson
2016: Klobuchar/Hodes vs. Palin/Riley (AL)
2020: Klobuchar/Hodes vs. Guthrie (KY)/Watts (OK)
2024: Hodes/Sánchez (CA) vs. Mack (CA)/Smith (NE)

Short version, I have no clue but it was a way to get to better know random and former congress critters.

It's interesting that your list shows 5 two-term Presidents in a row. (Clinton 1993-2001, Bush Jr. 2001-2009, Obama 2009-2017, Cuomo 2017-2025, Rubio 2025-2033). I believe that has never happened before in American history.

Yeah, you're right. I was thinking that as I did it. Realistically, this wouldn't happen but it is possible. Cuomo would probably lose a second term since the same party has not won 3 elections in a row since FDR --if you were to keep to the trend. (I really just want to see Cuomo in office Wink )

Yeah, the record is 3.

Would have been at least 4 if JFK wasn't assassinated (that is, if you count Truman as two terms despite his only being elected once).

I agree with you right there. JFK would have easily gotten reelected. I'm not sure if JFK's successor would have been, though. Still, 5 two term Presidents in a row sounds a little extreme, but I suppose it's possible if Obama's first term and the first terms of his two successors all don't end in recessions.

This is totally impossible, but...

2012:  Barack Obama (IL)/Joe Biden (DE) vs. Sarah Palin (AK)/John Thune (SD)

2016:  Scott Brown (MA)1/John Hoeven (ND) vs. Andrew Cuomo (NY)2/Russ Feingold (WI)

2020:  Kendrick Meek3 (FL)/Kirsten Gillibrand (NY)4 vs. Scott Brown (MA)/John Hoeven (ND)

2028:  Kirsten Gillibrand (NY)/Heath Schuler (NC)7 vs. Aaron Schock (IL)/Connie Mack (FL)8

1 - Brown is Governor of Massachusetts
2 - Cuomo is Governor of New York
3 - Meek was elected to the US Senate in 2012
4 - Gillibrand was elected Governor of New York in 2018
5 - Blackburn was elected to the US Senate in 2014
6 - Schock was elected Governor of Illinois in 2020
7 - Schuler was elected to the US Senate in 2016
