In my list, Gore lost reelection in 2004 due to the 2001-2003 recession and due to rising fuel prices. Similarly, McCain lost reelection in 2008 due to the financial crisis and the Great Recession. Do you have any other questions about my list?

I've never done a electoral map before. I'll hint at this... You need three colors for mine. (blue for GOP, red for Democrats, gold for American Conservative party ) ttl GOP is a centrist party, Dem is left-center, and Conservative is Libertarian-Right as of 1980.
