Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Gov. Howard Dean endorse Russ Feingold at a rally in Manchester, NH. They cite his plan for universal health care, his grassroots campaign, and his bold, independent, and progressive record in the senate.

Sen. Sherrod Brown endorses Russ Feingold for President.

Also there were Congressmen Heller and Porter, as well as Senator John Ensign and Governor Brian Sandoval.

I'm assuming these endorsements were approved.  I was under the impression that we couldn't campaign with our endorsers (or acknowledge their endorsements) until polling was released.

Also, is John McCain still a Senator?

I was under this impression too, until people started introducing their endorsements in the thread. John McCain is still a senator.

My endorsements were approved, but I didn't know that we couldn't campaign with our endorsers (or acknowledge their endorsements) until polling was released. So I'm really sorry if I set off something. I'll hold off on releasing any more endorsements until further polling is released.

It's okay, you're new here and I should have been more clear about the endorsements. Smiley

I think they were already requested, but I would like to see polling from Iowa, New Hampshire, Florida, and Ohio.

Would it be possible to see a map of Republican polling now that Eric Cantor's in the race?

On Sunday, with the Febraury polling.

Current National Republican Polls

Cantor 24%
Jindal 17%
Brown 11%
Lowden 9%
Brady 6%
Not 33%

I find it extremely unrealistic that Nancy and Michael Reagan would endorse different candidates. The chances, really, are slim to none. I have no clue whose was accepted first, but I think the person who requested one of them first should get to keep theirs, personally. So if you could clarify, ElectoralJew, which person asked for "their Reagan" first. If I was beat to it, I will be very willing to withdraw my Nancy Reagan endorsement, simply because I want this game to be as realistic as possible.

I do remember reading somewhere that Nancy and Michael Reagan don't like each other, and that they don't get along. If this is true, then I think it's fine if Nancy and Michael Reagan endorse different candidates. OTL Ron Reagan and Nancy Reagan endorsed different candidates for the 2008 Presidential Election (and in former elections). Nevertheless, if you guys want me to, I'll withdraw my Michael Reagan endorsement.

It's entirely your decision, I won't hold anything against you, obviously. I just personally would find it strange for members of a political family endorsing different opponents.

OK, I'll keep it if that's the case, because Ron Reagan, who is Nancy's actual son publicly endorsed Barack Obama while Nancy Reagan publicly endorsed John McCain, so I can believe that Nancy's adopted son (and I don't think she had too too much to do with raising him) would endorse another son than Nancy.

I've decided to do march polling tonight instead, due to Brady's suspension.
