Nebraska and West Virginia could be added to the list.

I was tempted to add West Virginia... but I have another thread asking about it in states that Clinton carried but Obama got crushed in. In 2010, the GOP benefited from a campaign from some coal moguls that Obama was "the enemy of coal".

To say more on the topic is crass in view of a recent tragedy. 

Nebraska and Kansas are the sorts of states that go for Obama only if  the GOP nominee is a certifiable extremist or nutcase. They would pick a sane liberal over a right-wing madman in an election that badly disserves America.
