What kinds of things do you aim for in life?  What are your priorities?  Where do you see yourself 5, 10, 30 years in the future?  Do you value money, love, pleasure, knowledge?  I'm curious to find out what's most on people's minds as they progress through life. Smiley

Become a professor of Physics at UC Berkeley, find a nice lady to marry, stay in touch with a close circle of friends, &c. I suppose my goals are a bit on the staid side.

Well, I'd like to learn to drive within the next year.  I would also like to learn how to speak Russian, and how to play a synthesizer.  I would like to finish my alternate history story, as well as the other story I've been working on for a few years now.  I'd like to get a Master's degree in History, and maybe teach or something.

I'd like to move out of California, live alone in an apartment in a nice area, and change my name.  Maybe run for office someday.

Get into a great university, find a wife, find a job that entails myself making a difference in the world. I guess it would be cool to have a wikipedia article about myself, too. I'm rather interested in politics, history, and international relations, so finding a job that entails immersing myself in all of these would be great.

I'm ambitious. I want to go too a big-city univeristy, become a lawyer, marry a religious, and hot Catholic or Christian girl. (Oh Noes! No Jewish wife for me!!!1111)

Then, I'd work as a lawyer in Chattanooga, TN. And run for office later in life. After 2-10 years in Congress, I'd retire, then either run for Governor, or work at ESPN or FOX News.

I'd love to learn more about the world works and actually have a grounded philosophy. I find myself questioning fairly simplistic things too often and being extremely conflicted too often. I want to be content with life but still have some sort of drive to accomplish more.

Specific goals:
-Move away from Idaho to a nice cosmopolitan city, possibly out of country.
-Find something that I actually love doing and pwn the competition.
-Go to lots of concerts/shows at lots of venues.
-Take a year off to travel the world.
-If that doesn't work, take a few years off when I'm in my 30's.

"Work" hard all week, go get drunk down at the bar, come home, beat my wife, sleep, tinker in the garage all weekend, beat my wife for having a uterus, repeat.

Doubtful.  You have every symptom of a self-hating gay.

1. Find a job in (and then move to) Seattle that would enable me to live relatively comfortably in an affordable apartment close to campus while finishing out my bachelor's degree at the University of Washington (I think I will change my history minor into a history major, so I in effect would be completing a double major in political science and history), and go to Grad school afterwards.  Hoping I find my Significant Other at this time.

2. After finishing grad school, look for another job in the Seattle area that I would actually like to make a career in.

3. Ponder moving overseas -perhaps to New Zealand (specifically Auckland).

Career wise:

1. Finish High School (not really going to be a problem)
2. Go to college and then Law School; minoring in Political Sciences
2. Either start working as a lawyer or became involved in politics some way (work on a campaign, in an official's office, etc.)
3A. Either become a successful lawyer and one day become a judge.
3B. Or get elected in local politics, and then maybe state politics one day.

I'm pretty sure I'm not going to be the next President, however. Wink

Social wise:

1. Having a family would be nice. Guess I have to figure out if I'm Bi or not, first. Wink
2. Visit Europe one day. Take some kind of month long trip.
3. Eventually retire to New England.

Yep. I'm respectful to everyone in the real world. And act more moderate, but more partisan.

I usually don't talk policy positions with the people I know in real life, so that doesn't surprise me. Really, I'd expect that most people tend to talk about general partisan stripes more than specific issues with their friends.

Wow, everyone wants to get married. Tongue

Maybe... You know Charlie Sheen from Two and a Half Men on CBS? I wouldn't mind being him, either.
