I had a weird dream last night (NOT attention whoring)

that Pope Benedict XVI stepped down from his papacy due to all the sex scandals plaguing his church in recent weeks and years.  I don't know where that dream came from and I certainly hope it doesn't happen.  Even though I am not a Catholic, I like this pope and think he is doing his best to kill this bug that many of the priests have unfortunately caught.

That's probably true.

I was basing my opinions on the very little knowledge I have of the RCC.  I have very few non-forum Catholic friends and most of those are non-practicing or "casual-practicing" as I call it, so I can't really get a good sense of the inner workings of the Church.  So, you can take my opinions with a grain of salt and then throw that grain over your left shoulder.
