     I am curious as well. I thought it might have been the "de-mod Gustaf" thread, but a cursory examination does not suggest that his posts there were deleted.

Not sure, but Dave probably got round to reading all his reported posts at last and was like, "holy crap I should probably have paid attention to all those ALL CAPS posts about him that the mods kept directing at me."

Despite me disagreeing with him on many occasions, it is a sad day for the forum.  The moderators need to unclench their asses and let some of that pent up gas out.  It really degrades the quality of the forum to have a couple of anal moderators running around reporting posts of people they don't like (Al, Masterjedi... ... Gustaf to some extent)

It was his air of superiority, his arrogance and his exhortations of violence against those with whom he disagreed that bothered me, not his politics. I have had plenty of drinking buddies from other parts of the political spectrum, because they were reasonable people. Einzige's politics weren't his problem, his personality was what made him intolerable.

I agree with Snow, to the extent that I think it is sad. The problem we have here, is that the mods can just bitch away, and delete and move posts around, and otherwise be tempting objects of derision, and then suddenly Moses appears, and whackorama, or nothing, it is beyond the reach of mere mortals to predict, because someone/something that far above the fray, is near inscrutable. So it is either the nuke button, or the laugh track, with not much in-between. If there was a bit more in-between, some might tack a bit before the perfect storm immerses them from further view on very short to no notice.

Snow's bit about mods themselves reporting E's posts and that having something to do with E's demise, I don't quite follow. I doubt in any event, that that had much to do with Moses's action.

While Einzige had a lot of problems, I have to agree with this post. There is no accountability with the mods.

Al is especially a hypocrite constantly reporting posts while he trolls and flames with impunity.
