William T. Sherman is nominated for the Republicans in 1884, finally accepting a run from the party. Cleveland is nominated for the Democrats, as in OTL. How does the general fare in the election? Does he do better or worse then Blaine?

I don't see why Sherman (a Civil War hero) would do worse than Blaine (a sleazy, corrupt politician).
