I regret NOTHING, probably the main benefit of hardly posting anything related to politics in my entire time here Grin

I don't regret anything, although my views have evolved quite a bit. I was a moderate Republican when I joined in 2004 and was a fairly strong supporter of the Bush administration. Most of that changed a couple of years later.

One thing I noticed was how well-versed I seemed in following electoral trends. A lot of that knowledge and passion has disappeared since I first joined.

If I were to start all over again, I would change a couple of things:

1) I wouldn't write so much. I put a lot of time and effort into some of my posts, only to have them be "thread killers" that never got a reply or totally lost in a sea of nonsensical replies.

2) I wouldn't let the trolls bother me like they did; I suppose I had some sort of emotional investment in seeing the Atlas be a place for sane and intelligent discourse, and I hated it when trolls made a mockery of that. Today ... eh, I don't care so much.

Not at all.  My views haven't changed much at all in my 6 year on here.

I've been here for a few months and...my first posts were from a pretty good TL, so, I'm happy with them.

Not really. The most stupid things you say are the things you really have to learn from (and to figure out importantly why they are stupid). I'm just dissapointed that many of my posts have been so bland (and that I've posted in so many "preceeding poster" threads out of mostly that heady but silly mixture of boredom and curiosity).
