Who knows. I have been polled once at the departure concourse of Hong Kong International Airport, asked why I was going where...

The Washington State DNC polled me. So has Elway, and one other pollster who did not say who they were. All three were fooled into thinking I am an adult.

I've been polled a number of times by various organizations, usually for local races. I was polled for a national firm during 1999, as a run up to the 2000 election. I have not been polled during this election cycle.

I was polled in the Guy Houston/Donna Gerber CA state assembly race in 2002.  Nasty race that was.  Houston (R) won, by about a tiny fraction of one percent.  It was the first and only time I left it blank.  They were just too nasty for me to have to pick one.  Made the Lazio/Clinton race look like a lovefest.  I just can't do that "lesser of two evils" schtick, but generally I can force myself to stomach one of the two, or find a third.  In that case, there were only two, and  they really are both too mean-spirited to win my vote.  And I told the pollster just that.  After a long, awkward pause, she thanked me for my time and hung up.  I was never contacted again.

I got polled in 2000 about the Presidential race by Gallup.  I not only registered my support for Bush, but I also started trying to convince the poller to vote for him Smiley
