I really don't find him funny.  He can be mildly entertaining... but mostly in a groan and roll your eyes kinda way.

The problem is that I don't think he's faking it.  I think he really believes the ridiculous stuff he says because he will often interject into arguments with only slightly watered down, but much more believable and realistic justifications of the extremes he goes to in his sarcasm/cynicism/hate.
