The minimum wage is still $7.50 but will increase to $8.75 on September 12 this year.

Though I have no objection to the hiring incentives proposal, I must confess that I find the term 'tax credit' to be quite the grating bit of political lexicon. Tongue

Hmm, I dunno, it sounds intriguing. It might be worth trying at least.

The other regions have done that for us, IMO.
