I would suggest that instead of perpetuating pointless personal attacks we should all be focusing a little more on the issues.  If someone plays the racist card when you disagree, then make a big deal about it, but don't go fishing for it.  What is the benefit of trying to make the debate about how racist the other side's fringe is?  There are racist Tea Party members and there are racists on the other side.
