Wasn't the last sighting of a Republican in her district about 15 years ago?  Smiley

As Speaker:  Possibly.

As a Representative from California: Only if there is a very strong Green Party challenge.

Fun fact: the last time a challenger broke 20% against Pelosi was in 1990.

For Speaker: Maybe
As Representative: Not unless the remains of Madeleine McCann are found in her basement, and it turns out that she in fact is a closet- member of the KKK.

That wouldn't even do it.

If I was really a "strict" moderator, I think you'd know where this thread would go.  Maybe you'll figure it out on your own.

Now, now, Sam, be patient with the young. I think his question was sincere. He may not have known where Nancy has parked her political hat.

Then he should go look at a map and then figure out what to do on his own.

Well right now he is working on the mechanics of percentage calculations I think. One step at a time. I am trying to remember when I mastered the concept. I think it was prior to age 10, but it has been a while now since then. Smiley

No, she won't. The only way she would lose reelection is if she murdered somebody. Her district is that Democratic.

San Francisco?  In theory, Pelosi could lose a Democratic primary to someone to her left, if there were one.  But there isn't.

I guess if Pelosi had done something like support the Iraq War and then faced some Chinese-American anti-war activist, she might actually have to lift a finger in '06 to guarantee she won her primary by 20% or more.

Pelosi grew up in a Democratic machine household, she knows how to count favors and would have no problem blowing Gavin Newsom or anyone else out of the water.

I thought that you lived just outside her district? Am I just having yet another senior moment?  Smiley

She'd still win.

I think this best describes where the district falls on the Cook Partisan Voting Index,  D+

No, she won't. "Dollar Bill" Jefferson lost reelection in 2008 despite the fact that his district was extremely Democratic. In this scenario, she would either get primaried or lose the general election.
