ACLU: organisations like that are important, but they often do amazingly idiotic things and tend to be run by people who care far too much about getting on telly.
feminism: there are too many types of it to give a blanket answer. So, in general positive (very much so), but...

openness about sexuality: sure. Though I don't especially want to know the details of anyone's sex life, tbh.
urban planning: aha... well, it's important. The alternative is not pretty, unless you're rich. But it can very easily lead to disasters of a different sort. What matter is power...
