Openness about sexuality, universities, and urban planning are the only ones I voted for.

LOL.  Who would have thought that all these years, nclib was just a liberal wussy "modern man" parody?  Bravo, nclib, though I suggest you spend your years doing something else besides constructing a troll persona.

Will you go out with me, honey?

Most of those things are too vague to have a real opinion on them. And many of which (like feminism) I am extremely ambigious.

ACLU: organisations like that are important, but they often do amazingly idiotic things and tend to be run by people who care far too much about getting on telly.
feminism: there are too many types of it to give a blanket answer. So, in general positive (very much so), but...
ethnic restaurants: ff
Heath Bar Cookies: no idea
college basketball: not my sport
openness about sexuality: sure. Though I don't especially want to know the details of anyone's sex life, tbh.
urban planning: aha... well, it's important. The alternative is not pretty, unless you're rich. But it can very easily lead to disasters of a different sort. What matter is power...
universities: well, I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't like them...
math: scary, scary thing. Make it go away!
80's music: '' ''
beaches: depends, doesn't it.
board games: depends on the game, but in principle I like them.
festivals: replace 'game' with 'festival'.
spirit of the law > letter of the law: obviously
fundamentalist Christianity is more similar to fundamentalist Islam than to liberal Christianity: theologically, no. Certainly not. In terms of the mentality... well, there's quite a bit in common, of course. The mentality is not even restricted to religion...
judge people by how they "play their cards" not what "cards" they're dealt: to an extent. I say 'to an extent' because that sort of attitude (while in theory very noble) has certain significant drawbacks when it comes to criticising the structure of society and the economy.
traditional gender roles are unfair to both genders and bad for society: there's no such thing as traditional gender roles.

ACLU (not perfect but who is?)
Ethnic restaurants (not because they're ethnic but because the food in most of these places KICKS ASS)
Openness about sexuality (of course Grin)
Universities
Math
80’s music (when I say 80's music I'm excluding that scourge of death known as "hair rock")
Beaches
Board games
Festivals
Judge people by how they “play their cards” not what “cards” they’re dealt.
Traditional gender roles are unfair to both genders and bad for society. (For the record I'm just pissed off by traditionalistic prudes bitching about "women in combat boots" and other things.  If a girl wants to cook me dinner far be it from me to tell her not to just so she can "resist the forces of traditionalism".)
