At least two more preferences must be indicated for a valid vote.

I think AL has G as his 2nd preference.

At least it's more balanced than a certain other proposal.
And yes, Al, your vote's invalid. We explicitly stated at least three preferences (although I don't see why)
And we aren't awarding points, we're going by Single Transferable Vote.

So, specify which two plans you'd use, call it option H and make it your first preference.

In First Preference votes, there are (with about 32 hours on the clock)
6 D
5 E
1 A
1 F
1 G
(Ignoring Al's vote)
That's not a majority, so those three with one vote would be eliminated, giving 8 D, 5 E, 1 abstain (Gustaf, who only stated three preferences not including D and E).
But there's still lots of registered voters out there, and the election is far from over.

No, no.  My plan is totally different from everyone elses, I ask (not demand) that we vote first on if we want Senate districts by population, perminant or my plan and then vote on how they should be laid out.  I think that those who seek perminant district have unfairly hyjacked the prosess by not allowing any options.

Well, you're the only one who wants impermanent regions. Consider that vote taken.

Not true.  Others supported me as well.  Harry and MAS117 both did.  The option has not been disscussed widely.  I say that we should vote on it.

I'm not the dictator. Nobody died.
Or is that a reference to "dictator-for-life of the Solar System"? That office was granted to me by God, but it does not carry any special rights and responsibilities, it's just a title. Smiley

Your plan essentially suggests that there be ten regions, but it was voted earlier that there be only five regions. That is why it is not included in this thread. Furthermore, a vote has already been taken on what the basis for regions to me; it has not been very productive and seems to have been ignored by most. Finally, the permanence of the map is an independent issue that would be separately decided.

I SUGGEST MAP E FOR THE PERMAMENT REGIONS
