The first preference results (if they do mean anything) according to my count are:

- Plan D (7)
- Plan E (5)
- Plan F (2)
- Plans A & G (1 each)
- Plans B & C (0)
- Invalid (1)

There is no majority, so, Plans B and C are eliminated. Thereafter, since votes still need to be redistributed, either plan A or plan G must be eliminated. After taking into account all of the eliminations so far, Plan A has three second-preferences, and G has one, so G is eliminated. The standings now are:

- Plan D (7)
- Plan E (5)
- Plan F (2)
- Plan A (2)
- Invalid (1)

Now either Plan A or Plan F must be eliminated. Among the remaining, F has 10 second-preferences, and A has 2. Therefore, A is eliminated. The situation is now as follows:

- Plan D (7)
- Plan E (5)
- Plan F (3)
- Exhausted (1)
- Invalid (1)

Plan F is eliminated, so the situation now is:

- Plan D (9)
- Plan E (6)
- Exhausted (1)
- Invalid (1)

Plan D, therefore, wins the election. Now one must determine its use: it should be used either as a permanent regional map, or as a shifting district map. Plan E, as runner-up, should be used for the other map.

Dang.

Oh well.

My preference is that E is the fixed and D is the swing, then, as it is more based on number of voters.

I challenge the way my map was unfairly brought out of the competition and also demand a recount!

While I would have thought that A and F would be eliminated at the same time, this doesn't change the final result.
Using both those maps is fine with me.
