A note about "Opinion of" threads

Barring a major event (BRTD saves a kitten, Dave Leip runs somebody over with a car, etc.), "Opinion of" threads for a poster will only be allowed to be held every other month (60 days-give or take a day or 2).

Violations against this new rule will result with the thread getting merged with the most recent "Opinion of" thread for that poster.  Excessive violations by the same individual will result with the thread(s) getting deleted (although no infraction points will be issued unless it gets to blatant spamming).

Feel free to post any questions or comments (but keep it nice - even mods have feelings)...

It's frowned upon and will likely result in a wave of negative votes, but it wouldn't be an infraction.

PS:  Roch, just assume two months from that date.  There's no reason to do a Duke poll before mid-July, for example.

I meant more 2 full months - 60 days give or take a day or 2.  So if you had one in February 15th, and April 15th, I'm not going to merge the 2 because February is a short month.

If you obey the spirit of the rule, which is 2 full months, you'll be fine.

Search before you do a thread on somebody.  Otherwise, the 2 threads would get merged.
