The president to which Barack Obama is closest ideologically is George W. Bush.

Minus the jesus.

And obviously a better speechwriter.

I agree with all of this.  In foreign affairs there is barely a difference......although domestically Obama is a bit more of a drunken sailor when it comes to spending than Bush.  But Bush was impressively drunken.
Obama is also trying to save the economy Keynesian style. Bush just didn't give a crap anything but tax cuts for rich people.

LOL.

Obama doesn't give a crap about anything except enriching his buddies on Wall Street.

Really?
I would say that Obama has a bit more of a Jesus ego than Bush did.

I heard he's taking his next over seas trip soon and he'll be traveling by walking across the Atlantic.

Obama has the same foreign policy as Bush?Huh Don't you think Mccain (or Bush) would have bombed Iran back when the protests were happening? At least Obama kept us out of that one.

No. I could see them approving an Israeli air strike though.

A strike on Iran would likely have wide support throughout the Middle East though, considering how even Saudi Arabia and Jordan have already approved their air space for Israeli jet fighters.

FDR was far from a socialist. In many ways he saved the free market system (although in a restricted form) when a lot of people had given up on it.
