Let's say Gore wins in 200, 9/11 still happens, and We still go to war with Afghanistan, and after a second terrorist attack led my some distant relatives of the Saudi royal family and a breakdown in relations, a war in Saudi Arabia. The economy is bad, but not as bad as it was with Bush as there has been less spending. DADT has been repealed and a Patriot Act Lite is in effect.

Gore and Lieberman defeat Ron Paul and Jeb Bush in 2004, who runs for the Republicans in 2008 and who runs for the Democrats. Who wins and by how much?

If the scenario doesn't sound likely I apologize, I summarized a detailed idea I've had for a while now.

Any clue who the running mates would be for both sides? I'm guessing Palin is out as she won't be able to sweep up female voters with Hillary in the way, and her career might not even exist in this alternate timeline.

Welcome.

Hillary/Bayh defeat McCain/Huckabee 275-263. I think. Even with Bayh on the ticket Indiana is very close.
