Sometimes people suggest that there is a link between the two, and i'll never forget how my professor suggest that the characters in Ayn Rand's novels are comparable to individuals who have aspergers. Individuals who suffer from Aspergers normally suffer from some kind of empathy gap, and have a hard time seeing things from another persons perspective. This is purely speculative, but it would be interesting to see how Libertarians respond to Cognitive behavioral therapy.
