You've been quite an interesting Senator so far, Libertas. I'm currently undecided as to whether or not preference you. Help me out! Wink

Given our massive political differences I'm not sure if I can endorse you, but good luck. Smiley

I doubt you'll need my vote to win anyway. Tongue

Hmm, well do you have any particular questions whose answers might be able to help you in making your decision?

I've asked a number of people why the hell they would want to vote for you, and they've answered me. Their answered have lead me to believe that perhaps I have misjudged you.

I am not willing to accept that I have, but, I am willing to entertain that it is "possible".

Therefore I shall be ranking you, but, I shall be ranking you 7th.

I realize it's a bit late for this, but Atlasia's been kinda quiet and I've been rather busy lately...but I can't not do this:

I would just like to thank the people of Atlasia for giving me the chance to serve them in the Senate again this term. In fact, my position improved from 3rd place to 1st in how I finished on election night between my first race in April and my re-election in August.

Hopefully things will pick up in the Senate now, and I look forward to working with my colleagues, new and old, to make that happen.

To those who lost, A-Bob and Kalwejt, I wish you the best in your current endeavors; A-Bob as a Mideast Assemblyman and Kalwejt as Attorney General. I'm sure you will be in a strong position to do better next time.

Once again, I invite anyone to post questions or comments about anything they wish to talk about here in my office, or you can send them to me by PM if you would prefer.

Sincerely,
Senator Libertas

My fellow Atlasians,

Today I have officially announced that I shall be standing for re-election to the Senate of Atlasia.

Legislation from my first term, such as the Break the Chains Act, has already started to bear fruit for Atlasian small businesses.

During my second term in the Senate, I've introduced legislation to bring an end to the abuses of the TSA, abolish the Federal Reserve, end taxation on alcohol and tobacco, crack down on Wiki vandalism, and restore the Intra-Regional Mobility Amendment. It is true that the Populares have lost seats and are in a bit of a rough spot lately, making it difficult to get our legislative agenda passed. We are up against an unfriendly Senate majority as well as a hostile president.

But I ask for your support today, not as a member of any political party or faction, but as a fellow Atlasian. In the Senate, I've been the sole voice of opposition and vote of dissent on numerous pieces of legislation and nominations. Conversely, I've introduced several bills that none of my colleagues in the Senate of any party were willing to touch. If re-elected, I shall continue to speak and act independently, representing the people of Atlasia against the establishment. I will never compromise principle for political gain.

Thus, regardless of your party affiliation or political outlook, I would much appreciate your support in the upcoming elections.

Sincerely,
Senator Libertas

Endorsed! Best of luck to you. Smiley

One question: If you are re-elected, will you make an effort to make more votes than you currently do?

Alot of shaming against BK a few weeks ago for his inactivity, but Libertas misses countless votes and dodges any and all responsibilities (and ignores everything I say to him in the Antonio court case) and people trip all over each other to endorse their token radical because.. well.. you know.. opposing voices or.. something..

Libertas, as a gesture of good will I can endorse you as well and give eligible preference, if you promise, and keep the promise, to participate in all votes and all debates.

Take it as a promise.

I declared my candidacy days ago.

Yet I have to hear how I'm not serious/don't pay attention enough here...

This'd be more impressive if Libby actually showed up to do his job occassionally. When he first was elected at least one could give him that. Now he's like the psuedo-intellectual high school dropout who's "too cool" to show up and do his work because "the system's all against us anyway, so what's the point?"

Pathetic. Won't stop his army of fanboys from backing him without exception.
