How do you guys think Irish Politics would unfold if Ireland had attained freedom from England sometime before the mid-1800s? Basically what I'm asking is political parties, maybe PMs, and other basic stuff.

The only "realistic" prospect for Irish "independence" in the period 1750-1850 is if Napoleon manages to defeat Great Britain, which means there would be no Irish Republic, just a Bonaparte ruling as an absolute monarch, though one hopes a benevolent one.

Thats not the point. What I'm asking is if there was an Irish Republic what would the political parties and such be?
