I'm not making a prediction until we get the 'votes' in from Tower Hamlets.

All London and Scotland will be counted tomorrow. London mayoral final result will likely be in the evening (last time at 11:30 pm)

The Boardbashi's map of London last time round has been picked up by Guido Fawkes. I'm sure the Boardbashi is delighted by this news.

There cannot have been a by-election here, as I didn't see an Andrew Teale writeup on it. Or else that by-election's validity should be challenged on the grounds that it was held without Andrew's written approval.

I somewhat doubt that.

Former London Mayor Ken Livingstone, who stirred controversy with remarks called anti-Semitic by the city's Jewish leaders, was trailing in a bid to reclaim his post, an exit poll showed.
Incumbent Boris Johnson, Livingstone's successor, had 53 percent of Thursday's vote to 47 percent for Livingstone in the hotly contested race, according to the YouGov poll for London's Evening Standard.
In the 2008 election, the Tory Party's Johnson took 42.4 percent of the vote to 36.4 for the Labor Party's Livingstone.
London Jewish leaders said Livingstone in a March meeting made remarks that they called nearly "classic anti-Semitism." Livingstone said that the Jewish community would not vote for him because "the Jewish community is rich." The Jewish leaders also said that Livingstone had used the words Zionist, Jewish and Israeli interchangeably and "in a pejorative manner."
Livingstone apologized for the statements and called on the Jewish community to "move on from the 'Ken and the Jews dramas.' "
The meeting was held to discuss Livingstone's support of radical Muslim cleric Sheik Yusuf al-Qaradawi and his accepting money from Iranian state broadcaster Press TV. Livingstone has been a frequent critic of Israel.

Looking at the live Mayoral results page it seems like Boris has almost certainly win on first preferences, and presumably will be re-elected. Most of the places favourable to Ken are closer to having finished counting than those favourable to Boris, who's ahead as it is. Labour are ahead in the city-wide assembly, and Greens are third in both races so far.

I see Londoners have discovered the joy of ticket-splitting.
Merton & Wandsworth first constituency seat to declare; Labour up about 7%, Conservatives, LibDems and Greens all down a point or two. Conservatives still win of course.

Just realised I was reading the results wrong: I was counting registered ballots rather than verified ones, the areas behind on the latter category tend to be Livingstone-leaning ones. Still looks like Boris will win thought and Greens still in 3rd place..

Dismore seems to be beating Coleman in Barnet & Camden. No matter our partisan differences, I think we can all agree that it would be a very good thing if
that
holds...

didn't think it was going to be that close, I know its not 1997, but Labour had overall control of the borough and all three MPs then
looks like Labour are going to end up with the most seats, a back of the envelope job I did earlier said UKIP1, LD1, GRN2, CON8, Lab10
