Glad to see where I stayed in London (Queen's Gate) go so strongly for Boris! Hardly a surprise though.

First ward map of many. If you're wondering why it appears I'm using one of Sibboleth's colour schemes, that's because I am, because it's great.
My only observations so far are that Johnson appears to have strengthened in gentrified/gentrifying areas of inner London (e.g. Clapham, Islington, parts of the Docklands) since 2008, and that Livingstone has recovered a little bit in relatively working class areas in outer London (e.g. Eltham West, most wards in Barking and Dagenham) where he had done markedly badly last time.

Great work: well done
Yeah, the general patterns are much more normal than last time (though still off in some areas, of course), which is actually very interesting. You can tell it was the national picture (and the voters that brought out) that made it so close at the end.

Really great work!
Of course Al's colour schemes are fantastic! I have a "shading tones" file on my computer that I use for my maps, and normally change the red and blue ones I took from the Atlas, so that the pale colours are from Al's colour scheme instead, because I think they look better (I think two palest blue shades, and three palest red/pink ones).

Surrey Docks ward is, yeah. Loads of posh flats where there had previously been water. Livingstone won Rotherhithe ward itself.
Sentiments absolutely and utterly and absolutely echoed, o/c...

Great stuff. Some really interesting patterns in places; Feltham is immediately striking when compared to the Mayoral map, as is Finchley (and then on closer inspection the whole of Barnet, basically). Harold Hill et al as well.
