Message from the Department of Federal Elections
«

The general election will begin on Friday, June 18, at 0:00 Eastern time.
Voters have the opportunity to vote absentee after the candidacy declaration period ends. It is somewhat complicated as there are seperate declaration deadlines for Senate and President/Vice President.
I interpret it to mean that those wishing to vote absentee at this time will only be allowed to cast a vote for President (but it's really not a clear thing).
At any rate....anyone who absolutely will not be able to vote next weekend....can go ahead and request a ballot in this thread....or in the Department of Forum Affiars thread.
Absentee voting for President and Vice President begins
now
.
Absentee voting for Senate will commence precisely
24 hours
before the general election begins.

Alright, if Republicans gain less than 75 seats, I'll prominently display my failure in my signature.

You are aware that you will not be able to vote for Midwest Senate if you cast your ballot now?
Just checking.

Alright, regardless......The Department of Federal Elections grants
Vepres
the opportunity to vote absentee.
Vepres, you may vote in the appropriate voting booth at your convenience.

Damn, Franzl, I ended my joke presidential campaign long ago.
If I did in in inproper way, is there a chance to get my name removed from ballot?

Starting at midnight Eastern time, absentee voting will be possible for every office, as the candidacy declaration period for Senate expires then.
You may request an absentee ballot (after midnight) in this thread. When I get up tomorrow morning, I'll grant any requests made.
Kind of stupid to hold absentee voting for 24 hours before the general election.....but that's our law.
