Fiorina has yet to be declared the winner. Does that really mean anything?

Sometimes these news networks amuse me.

Angle's going to win by more than you think because the more recent votes will show the Lowden implosion.

Angle-Lowden could end up to be a skin tight race. We need another vote dump of today votes in Clark to know.
I (sadly) don't see it. Angle is now leading by 7, with 32% in. These are extremely disappointing results. Everyone prepare for another session with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
Look at the numbers below:

Total   679/2126

Angle 32,647

Lowden 26,996

Clark   107/1181

Angle 17,714

Lowden 18,693

I think the initial Clark results (which may have reflected absentees/early votes) were better for Lowden than what came in later.

Earlier I posted about how stupid Arkansas voters were. I'm afraid that my own state's voters aren't really any better. In particular, Prop. 16 passing would be an epic fail.

Could well be Cinyc, which is why I wanted to see another vote dump from Clark. If Angle breaks even with that dump, or close, than it is time to call the election.

Updated Clark from their website:

Precincts Reporting: 375 of 1175 (31.91%)
Candidate   Graph   Votes   %
Angle, Sharron    22,470    35.74%
Lowden, Sue           20,901    33.24%
Tarkanian, Danny     13,185    20.97%

Not looking good for Lowden.

OK, it is over. Reid must be happy.

I posted another Clark County dump from the county's website, which the AP hasn't reflected yet.  It broke to Angle.  The fat lady is warming up, probably already singing.

She sang, and the curtain came down.

I don't think it matters much who gets the nomination. Lowden may have been the stronger candidate before her chicken comment.

The fact that Reid is such a pathetic person is why him managing to win would be even more hilarious.

I don't see how Harris loses the AG bit especially with all of San Francisco still out. And the Birther lady is gaining.

The only race left is CA-11 GOP Primary that matters.

The Birther lady actually appears to be stronger in the urban areas.

Alright, I'm taking suggestions for silly write-ins.  I thought of either writing-in myself or Invader Zim.

32%. I take it you did not vote for her and are very embarrassed by 1 out of 3 California Republicans?

My thoughts on Arkansas:

Arkansas is my second home (Maryland is where I live, of course). I know how different their state Democratic Party is from the national entity. But I wanted Bill Halter to win SO bad. But I'm proud of him. He made it close. His message was clear. And I hope he runs for Governor in 2014 (or as an Independent in this race, can he do that?)

As for Blanche: Gotta give her credit, she pulled it off. And I'd rather her win in November than Boozman (although I'm fully prepared to see her lose; I know how it is). Her Wall Street reform bill should be pursued more aggressively now; she may have defeated Halter, but as I said before, progressives made their voices count, and I really hope she realizes that and tries to get their support.

What can I say? My Arkansas roots are strong. I can't help it.

Of course!  I will concede that a third of the GOP are nutters (more in some places), if you concede that close to an equal percentage of the Dems are of the same ilk. How about that? Smiley
