What do you think?

Poll is open for one day only since Election Day is TOMORROW.

My Choice is Kerry 270-284

The problem is guessing what the Gore states that were razor thin last time are going to do this time. I say Bush gets over the top in IA and WI, possibly MN too, so there a number of narrowly won Gore states that could flip and then there's OH, which is the only consequential Bush state that is in play for Kerry. Bush has more ways to win than does Kerry, so I'll say Bush somewhere between 280 and 300.

Bush will get- Iowa, Wisconson, New Mexico and Florida.
Kerry gets- Ohio, MN, New Hampshire

It could easily be any fo the middle three choices, so I picked the one I want a 269-269 EV tie.

Are there any reasonable tie scenarios left?

The most realistic tie scenario is:

Kerry picks up FL, NH
Bush picks up IA, WI, NM

Thank you all for voting.  I will close the poll at 12:00 am CST.  (2 hrs 30 min from now).

I think we know who is President by sunrise in northern Oklahoma on November 3 (7:00 am CST).

I don't think we will have another 5-6 weeks of recounts and lawsuits and recounts and lawsuits and recounts and lawsuits and Supreme Court intervention.

Nice, BossTweed...

Not too far off myself--I actually had it nailed too, until I switched NH & Wisconsin back into Bush's column.

Nice job Tweed, although it could have been a lot about luck. Grin Smiley
