Looks like a not too old area, with the houses built some time in the last 20 years.

And it looks like somewhere around Phoenix, Arizona. Definitely suburban. And rather ordinary.

I would say 55-60% Republican.

Republican. I always associated suburbs as Republican leaning places.

My suburb is 65-70% Democratic.

Lean Republican but swingable. Might have voted for Obama but voted for the Republicans in 2010. Of course a lot depends on what region of the country this is in. You should tell us the state.

LOL figuring out what state it is and what town isn't all that difficult. I did vote Republican town before I knew where it was though.

IIRC it's a 55% McCain town, 60% GOP on average. Tender Branson was right.

It is a suburb in Colorado (Highland Ranch), but it is located in the far southern Republican suburbs of Denver (Douglas County), and voted as such.

Yeah, it's got more in common politically with Colorado Springs than with Denver proper.

Yeah it kind of looked like it...and I guess we already know how it voted. Parts of Aurora that look like that might be more mixed, and would have acted politically like I described. And if it was the suburbs in Boulder county, it would have voted Democratic.

If it were here it'd be Tory. Anyways, I don't know really. Not my kind of place though.

How can you tell where something terrible like that would be? Unfortunately, as far as I've experienced, you could find that in almost every state.

The file is called "highlands_ranch2.jpg", which I assume is how people found out.

Highlands ranch is one of the most affluent neighborhoods in the state. This was one of the only places in the west Sarah Palin's movie played in theaters.

According to DRA, Highlands Ranch was 55/44 McCain and 62/38 Republican.

If you look at it with Google Earth's time feature, it's quite disturbing.
