All of these games could really go either way though. I suppose that's what happens when it's still completely possible for any of these eight teams to go through.

If it's a Germany-Netherlands final, I have a bad feeling the Dutch will win anyway. Teams that grind out competent if uninspiring victories always beat exciting young teams that everyone thinks will win (see: Germany-Netherlands 1974).

I have very little faith in Nate Silver's soccer predictions. He predicted both Argentina and England to beat Germany, and didn't do that well in the group stages either.
