Who would win? By what margin? What does the map look like?

Paul landslide every except  Massachusetts, they tend to dislike freedom there. And Wilson would narrowly carry D.C., where the (D) by his name outweighs his racism.

Massachusetts, they tend to dislike freedom there.

Which is why they voted for Reagan twice.

Are we talking about the Wilson of 1912, of 1916, or of 1920 here?  I think Paul would beat the Wilson of 1916, but would lose to the Wilson of 1912 or of 1920.

Does Wilson flip-flop on his views on race?

Pretend this is the Woodrow Wilson arriving home from Europe.

Then he'd win in a landslide.

You'd vote for Wilson for sure, wouldn't you?

War, militarism, racism, bigotry, authoritarianism, censorship, political imprisonment, bankster empowerment; what's not to love about Wilson?

Crap. Yeah, should have thought that through. I mean, he had bipartisan support from the LEP and everything when he returned home. Let's just say that this is the 1916 Wilson, then.

How about we do multiple scenarios? What would it look like with 1912 Wilson, 1916 Wilson, 1919 Wilson after Europe, and 1920 Wilson?

Ben, out of curiosity, why would you vote for Wilson?

It doesn't matter what year we're talking about, Mr. "Birth of a Nation" isn't winning in a landslide in 2010 America.

Wilson/Paul.

You would vote for Wilson? You know he and his Klansman friends didn't care much for ethnic minorities like Jews...?

Wilson appointed the first Jewish SC justice. That's something. He also had a lot of close Jewish friends, like Bernard Baruch. Paul's economic and foreign policy positions are more extreme, so I voted for Wilson. I think that if he tried to do anything racist or discriminatory, Congress would easily block him and maybe even impeach him.

Wilson liked bankers and mega-rich elites. Is that who you wish to be associated with?

No. However, Wilson also broke a lot of trusts and banned child labor (which the SC overturned).

Ben, out of curiosity, why would you vote for Wilson?

We're identical on economic and foreign policy views, he appointed progressives to the SCOTUS, and Paul is just terrible in every single way.

In other words, you and Wilson both love death and destruction for the enrichment of the military-industrial complex.
