How many steak dinners does Obama have to attend? How many more golf outings must he go on? How many more concerts does he have to be at? How much more time should he spend playing basketball before the left abandons him? Imagine if it were Bush doing these things during an oil spill, a general opposing his Iraq policies, unemployment in the double digits, and jobs were being offered to Republicans to drop out of races. I can only imagine how it would be reported by the media. How do you all think the media would be treating Bush if he did the things Obama was doing now?

Bush should have been impeached and thrown into prison. It's too late to do the former, but we can still accomplish the latter.

Bush would have had a harder time with the spill because he was an oil man. No doubt about it. Obama catches a lot more hell about the deficit than Bush did because he's a Democrat. Life's not always far.

I thought Democrats were considered the fiscally conservative party ever since Clinton? Then again, Obama's deficit is much larger than Bush Jr.'s ever was (but that's not Obama's fault, though).

He probably would've done nothing really but asked people to pray for BP.. the Republicans would've eaten it up.

Oh, and they probably would've started a ribbon magnet sticker campaign where you pay a buck oh five and get a nice sticker to put on your gas guzzler... all proceeds going to BP for cleanup, of course.
