RULES:
1. The winner gets the title "Ex-Officio Speaker" or summet else. Oh and official House Prediction bragging rights until 2006
2. Predict every race on either Sabato or Cook's lists (

3. Determining the winner is pretty damn obvious
4. Tie break needed... er... Louisiana runoffs. Yes that'll do.
5. No deliberate copying

I'm not going to go so far as to predict individual races, but my final prediction for the House is GOP 222, Dems 212 (1 Independent, Sanders in Vermont).

Arizona 1: Renzi (R)
Colorado 3: Salazar (D) (PICKUP)
Colorado 7: Beauprez (R)
Georgia 3: Marshall (D)
Georgia 12: Barrow (D) (PICKUP)
Illinois 8: Crane (R)
Indiana 8: Hostettler (R)
Indiana 9: Hill (D)
Kansas 3: Moore (D)
Kentucky 3: Northrup (R)
Kentucky 4: Clooney (D)
Louisiana 3: runoff (possible D PICKUP)
Louisiana 7: Mount (D)
Nebraska 1: Fortenberry (R)
New York 1: Bishop (D)
New York 27: Higgins (D) (PICKUP)
Oregon 1: Wu (D)
Pennsylvania 6 : Gerlach (R)
Pennsylvania 13: Schwartz (D)
Pennsylvania 15: Dent (R)
Pennsylvania 17: Holden (D)
South Dakota: Herseth (D)
Texas 1: Sandlin (D)
Texas 2: Lampson (D)
Texas 17: Edwards (D)
Texas 19: Neugebauer (R) ("PICKUP")
Texas 32: Sessions (R) ("PICKUP")
One more R PICKUP due to regerrymandering. (From 17-15 D, 16-16 after Hall, to 17-15 R including Hall even if Dems win all five)
Utah 2: Matheson (D)
Washington 5: McMorris (R)
Washington 8: Ross (D) (PICKUP)
Dem gain of one or two, depending on Lousiana runoff result. (ie, loss of one or no change if compared to 2002 election result - two Dem defectors)

Winner here would appear to be Sam Spade, with two clear errors (on IN-9 and NY-27) plus wrong second placeds (but correct predictions of a runoff, and correct firsts) on both La. races.
