What's wrong with 1979? even if you don't like Thatcher, the election was pretty interesting, represented a lasting shift in politics and while Thatcher was favored, there was still some doubts. And you can even watch the election night on Youtube.

2001 was boring, it was another labour landslide, few seats changed hands and it was really just a continuation of Blair Tongue

Not complaining, just asking.

I vote 2001 again.

And i still would like the reasoning for voting 1979, though i feel it will be what i expect Tongue

It's funny that i and others are criticised for voting to eliminate 1979, and yet officepark isn't criticised for voting to eliminate the even more interesting 1964.

He usually does this, so it's nothing new, but he is just one guy, there is no real danger of him ousting an election by himself right now. If there were 2 or 3 other guys voting for it i would react the same way.

If not check out the US elections thread and watch how he voted like 50 times for 1992 with little success until just a couple of rounds ago when there are more or less 10 elections.

And if you think that i love Thatcher or something then you are terribly mistaken, as an argie i have quite a bit of practice too in hating her Tongue

People can vote for whatever reason they want, i have varied my reasons for ousting people in different survivors many times. I was just curious if the reasoning was the expected one of "I hate Thatcher" or if there was another one for it, that's just it Smiley
