Well? Huh I'm sure Sarah Palin was aware O'Donnell wasn't going to win the GE in DE. Why'd she choose to endorse her?

For the same reason DeMint did.

You need to think of things in absolute terms.  If the moderate, establishment wing of the GOP gains, Sarah Palin loses.  It's not about the Republican team as a whole.  Sarah & Jim would rather have the seat fall to Democrats than Mike Castle, and that's exactly what they did.

Did Sarah or DeMint endorse first?

If DeMint endorsed O'Donnell first(or even if the Palin people had good intelligence that DeMint was planning on doing so), Palin may have been worried about being outmaneuvered by DeMint for the affections of the conservative crowd.

Probably to show "the establishment" the she means business and she'll oust their candidates. "Give me a clear run in 2012, or i'll make sure that Obama gets re-elected."

She endorses ultra-conservative whackjob candidates in states where it doesnt' matter and more normal/mainstream candidates in states with early primaries like Iowa and New Hampshire hmm.........

Because it demonstrated her power. What GOP incumbent is safe from her wrath at this point? And what GOP members will be willing to headline a stop Palin movement in in 2012?

It doesn't matter if its true. The media narrative was that Palin won it, and she understands narratives.

Exactly. Palin may not be very intelligent, but she's good at political maneuvering and seizing opportunities that present themselves. It's important that she consolidate her power and influence now, and throwing away a safe seat just to make a point is the ultimate display of her influence and willingness to "go all the way."

We should be very afraid of this woman.

It ups the fear factor of her - mess with her, and she will destroy you.
