Where's the "not" option? Tongue

Instead there's a Kaczynski option that nobody in their right mind would pick... Roll Eyes

Because in Poland:

1. Write-ins are now allowed
2. Invalidated votes are always ignored

And:

3. If you don't know (not personally, Lewis Wink) about whom I'm talking about, don't vote

No, that's Jarosław.

Yes, there are a lot of rumours.

Am I correct in assuming that the closest equvelant to Britain is the Conservatives (Civic Platform) v UKIP (Law & Justice) ? BTW I 'voted' for Jaroslaw.

I don't like saying this, but I think I wouldn't vote.  Both Civic Platform and Law & Justice seem outside the range of parties I'm prepared to support, though in different ways.

I'm looking at this as a choice between a lesser evil and total disaster.

By not choosing a lesser evil (Komorowski) and staying away from the poll, I know I'd only improve total disaster (Kaczyński) chances.

If I were a Pole, I would probably do the same. But in general I'm not a fan of the lesser-evil-voting.

Did you ever face lesser-greater evil choice in Germany?

Rarely, since I'm SPD party member, and I never had to vote in an election without a Social Democrat on the ballot.
