Don't like any of your preffered candidates, but Jerry Brown was kind of good as Governor, and I like the song California Uber Alles by the Dead Kennedys.

Toomey!

and

Go Goldwater! (so sad that Reagan doesn't get into politics in this one) With hope, A Conservative Republican and/or Nixon will win in '76, then the Democrats control the Whitehouse from 1981-1989, then...Barry Goldwater Jr, Two Term Governro of California and Freshman Senator from California wins.

So true. Harry Truman could relate more to the comman man than Barrack. Also, Barrack my be headed for a fall intwo years, whereas Truman was able to scrape by with a victory. However, Obama could be the next Harry Truman if the Republicans nominate Pawlenty or Palin.

Don't they have a song used on a TV show of some sort?

What, "Light My Fire", "Riders on the Storm", "Break on Through", "Touch Me", "LA Woman", what?

I have somewhat mixed feeling on Calvin Coolidge given his possible role in the Great Depression, however, that's a good quote.

First one: The album "Fragile" by Progressive Rock band "Yes"
Second one: The album "Fire of Unknown Origin" by the Hard/Psychedelic Rock band "Blue Oyster Cult". On the cover is a Blue Oyster Cult. Don't ask me about the names.
