I'm on a family vacation this weekend and will have limited Internet access, so in case I miss the PPT declaration thread, I HEREBY DECLARE THAT I AM RUNNING FOR PPT Smiley

I don't think you can do that. Tongue

No worries. If this doesn't count, I'll nominate BK when the thread opens.

Just a question here, everyone. Am I pushing things through the Senate too fast? I'm trying to use my activity as an example for others but I'm afraid I'm buzzing past everyone here. Please let me know if there's a problem with my pace.

Not at all, IMHO. Crack that whip, BK!

(Though I still oppose the letting the bills be introduced directly by the executive).

There was no "pwnage". Marokai was on my ignore list for months and I didn't/don't give a damn about what he "campaigned" on. I will not sit back while this authoritarian Vice President attempts to usurp more and more power for himself.

Btw, you got some brown on your nose.

Keeping Blue on your ignore list is your prerogative, of course, but then you might be better informed on what he and PS campaigned on, and not sound so foolish proclaiming "the cat was out of the bag" on something they had actively campaigned on in multiple posts.

btw, you have some brown in your argument.

If this isn't a stupid question, are there any advantages to seniority or is it merely a nominal thing?

Absolutely, man! First in line to get pizza when the Senate orders, and you get first dibs on ordering toppings.

Others have to bow when passing more senior members in the hallways, with the depth of the bow commiserate to the difference in seniority. Shua will likely have to kowtow prostrate everytime he passes Yank.

Plus parking and office privileges! Compare the offices of PPT Yank:

With those of a lowly freshman senator:

And the choice in staff! Compare Yank's first choice from the secretarial pool:

With those leftover for freshmen:

Trust a retired Senator: Seniority is everything.

Be careful what you say. You're talking about the next POTUS, here.

Yes, and she likes to hunt down Democrats for their "traitorous" ideas, I know.

Nice try f@#$king with me, Mr. President. Wink
