I think so.......but Mrs. M says, no.

Perhaps you should record your voice Grumps, and then decide based on listening to the recording. In fact, maybe you could "share" it with us. Tongue

Record my singing voice?  Will you defend me when the lawsuits for burst ear drums come rolling in, ole buddy?Huh  Actually, you'd probably be a plaintiff lawyer in this case, so go away.  Wink

I can hold my own.  I have been in church choir, and i have also led the music at church.  I'm not Branson or Nashville material as I am generally either flat or sharp.  My favorite keys to sing in are D-molish and R-sharp. Smiley

My fiancee' says I'm off-key, which I don't doubt.  Just like some on here, I am better in a choir (as a bass or baritone) than I am singing contemporary music.

I love to sing, though, and it doesn't matter who I'm around unless it's my parents.  Go figure.

Its somewhat decent but in desperate need of real practice.

Last time I was in a chorus was, hmm, When George Bush was gearing up for reelection. Smiley

I just sang in a concert as part of a symphony chorus on Saturday, 1st tenor. I join most summers for a concert and some years I can manage rehearsals for a concert during the fall or winter if my schedule permits.

Joan Rivers.  Even listening to her talk I'm afraid that her voicebox will dislodge and come flying out of her mouth.

Well, technically all can sing. Differense depends on quality or lack of thereof.

I have a good voice and a bad ear... so I invariably end up singing loudly but out of tune. I feel sorry for the people in the pew in front of me in church.

If I start off on the right notes and it's a song I know well, I can generally hold the tune pretty well, and I haven't got a bad voice, but if I don't start well or the song is not well known to me, I am out of tune and can't pick it up. I like singing but yeah, I'm not great. I take after my grandfather, that way, and his father was Welsh, so you'd think we'd be better than that.

I have perfect pitch but no technique, so I guess I'm ok.
