What is your opinion of our new Senate President pro tempore, and highest ranking Asian American in history?

I don't know much about his politics, but it's not important.  I can think of at least three very good reasons why he should be considered an "epic FF", as the morons of the forum would say.

First, he has served his state in Congress since its creation.  This impressive feat of longevity was shared only with Strom Thurmond until his retirement in 2003.

Second, following the death of his first wife (of 57 years [!] ) in 2006, he remarried in 2008 at the sprightly age of 85.  Plus, his new wife is 24 years his junior, which shows that he's still doing something right.  Pay attention, gentlemen.

Third, and perhaps most importantly of all, is the circumstance by which he lost his right arm.  I'll leave it to his Medal of Honor citation for the details of his ultimate badassery:

A great man, both for his views, and for his service to his State and Country.  Epic FF.

A War hero, brave, a fierce fighter both for his country and for his state. That alone is FF material. He is also a loyal friend (campaigned for Ted Stevens in 2008).

His ideology and his taste for fine Hawaiian style pork leave something to be desired though.

Despite the popular impression, Thurmond was not around in 1789 when Congress was created.

So?  He was already more than old enough to legally drink alcohol at the time she was being born.  That makes him a motherfudgin P.I.M.P.

lolno, but she knows I do.  I'm allowed to have this one dorky habit, and in return I allow her to read the Twilight books, but we have an understanding to never talk to each other about either topic.
