Note that I do not intend Clause 2 to be an endorsement of regional destruction at all; I just want to make it clear that the Midwest Region believes we are being unfairly singled out under current proposals of the law and that any attempt to abolish us should only be made if it also fairly destroys other regions.

I want to keep the Midwest as it is right now. As for part one of this bill, I don't really care what the motive is for people who want to redraw the map. The nation as a whole is very competitive so who cares if a region is safe for one party or another. Also, I would point out that our Senator is in the RPP and we're supposed to be a "left' region.

1. The Midwest Region opposes any and all efforts to decrease the number of regions in Atlasia based on concerns about ideological competitiveness.
2. The Midwest Region opposes all efforts to eliminate the Midwest Region that do not also abolish all other regions.

Hola mi compadres!

It's been a long time since I've participated in Atlasia (well, not that long, but who's counting?), and I've really only been convinced to come back because I think this great assembly needs more activity!

I really think this is a neat form of government, and I always enjoyed participating in it.  So, can my past sin (dropping off of the face of the earth because of lack of interest) be forgiven?

Midwest Comprehensive Jobs Act
I. The Midwest Government shall sponsor a program to clean up and fix all bridges, roads, and other places in bad shape.
II. The Midwest Government shall also sponsor a program to clean up all lakes, rivers, and other places which have been ruined by pollution or other environmental problems.
III. The Midwest Government will sponsor a program to build hospitals, schools, houses, apartments, and other necessities for the citizens of the Midwest.
IV. The Midwest Government will also fund fire departments, schools, police departments, hospitals, and other organizations of necessity that are in danger of closing due to lack of money.
V. The Midwest Government will also fund these schools, hospitals, and bridges to pay for this.
VI. Noting that this bill will create hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions of jobs, the Governor of the Midwest urges this bill to be passed right away.

I'd like more specifics in the bill.  What is the timeline for any of this?  How should we determine what's "polluted", what's "in need of money", etc.?
