Confidence Motions Bill

Be it resolved…

i.   Where a confidence motion is proposed for or against an officer, it shall take precedence amongst the order of business of the Alțing - where it is proposed by 2 members in good standing.

ii.   Where the Alțing resolves confidence in an officer, such nominees as may have proposed no confidence in the officer will be prohibited from proposing a further confidence motion against the same officer for a period of 6 weeks.

iii.   The Deputy Verin shall have responsibility for the officiating of confidence motions brought against the Prime Verin.

This is the problem with the Midwest, We're already perfect so no one feels to need to propose any changes. Wink

With that said any ideas would be welcome.

Presumably the chamber could discuss the proposed Senate bill distributing federal funds to the regions?

I posted that in my office thread. But if anyone wants to voice an idea here they should feel free.

Dr. Cynic wants the Governors to submit federal stimulus needs.  I suggest we get to work on that.

I'm thinking the basics. Education, Infrastructure. Maybe a high speed rail between St. Paul and Salt Lake City.

Ooh, high speed rail!  I'm not sure St. Paul to SLC would be the most profitable route, though.  What do you guys think would be?  Could we get a study or something?

EDIT: I found a website!  I say we do Minneapolis -> Des Moines -> Omaha -> Kansas City (Enthusiasm, o/c)... then perhaps west to Denver?

Can we have it dip south after Kansas city? I'd like Oklahoma City to get in on this.

Nah.  Wayyyyyy too underpopulated of an area.  Belle Fourche has presumably grown since we made it the capital, but even so, I'm not sure it'd be much larger than, say, a Jefferson City.

Well, I'm not sure it'd make sense to have Omaha -> Kansas City -> Oklahoma City -> Denver.  And, if we had to pick one, Denver's quite a bit larger...

I thought maybe the two capitals should be connected.

VERY rough first draft. Thoughts?

Well, if we want to go to Exhilaration, we really ought to go through Awe, not Shock, with a stop in Belle Fourche.  I think the route through the south part of Happiness should go through Rochester.  Also, Des Moines, Confusion seems to be rather confused about where it's located!
